Sr. Power BI Developer & Administrator

Location: King of Prussia, PA Position Summary: We're seeking a hands-on Power BI expert to lead the development, administration, and optimization of enterprise-wide BI solutions. This role will own semantic model design, Power BI platform governance, advanced DAX development, and intuitive visual storytelling. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Microsoft BI tools, data modeling, and internal stakeholder collaboration. Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and optimize semantic models, dashboards, reports, and scorecards in Power BI Design user-friendly, intuitive navigation and data visualizations aligned with business needs Create advanced DAX calculations and work closely with analysts and product managers on data use cases Integrate Power BI with Azure SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Purview Manage Power BI platform administration, row-level security, and application security layer models Serve as a design and visualization expert, supporting internal teams on dashboard best practices Monitor and document BI environment health, security compliance, and standards Support ad hoc analysis and stakeholder reporting needs Advise on internal data governance, documentation, and role-based access models Qualifications

6+ years of experience in BI development and administration Expert-level Power BI, DAX, Microsoft Fabric, and Purview knowledge Proficient in SQL and scripting (Python/R a plus) Strong understanding of Azure, medallion architecture, and data modeling best practices Excellent visual design sensibility with the ability to convey insights through clear, compelling dashboards Experience supporting Finance teams (e.g. AR, forecasting, reconciliation) Exposure to cloud data tools (e.g. dbt, Apache Airflow) preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar field or 10+ years equivalent experience Bonus: experience with Salesforce, Zuora, FinancialForce, or ServiceMax Role Highlights
