As a Licensed Clinical Therapist/Independent Licensed Therapist, you will engage with a diverse patient population, treating a wide range of mental health conditions. Your role will encompass behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong provider-patient relationships and effectively coordinate care with external providers
Conduct comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluations and deliver ongoing medication management
Enhance the training experience of our graduate students through active participation
Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy for various mental health conditions
Systematically track treatment responses and monitor patients for changes in symptoms and potential treatment side effects
Represent the practice in community outreach through presentations and lectures
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
Active and unrestricted state license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience after obtaining your Master’s degree
Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
Familiarity with medical documentation software, including Excel, Outlook, and Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively

The salary range for this position is $59,500 to $116,600 annually for full-time employment. Pay is determined by various factors such as local labor market conditions, education level, work experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws.
