SQL Database Analyst

Were seeking a TS/SCI-cleared professional ready to bring their expertise to a mission-driven environment in Springfield, VA. If youre passionate about data integrity, high-performance systems, and making an impact where it counts, this is the role for you. What Youll Do
Analyze and implement SQL database solutions that are secure, scalable, and reliable. Monitor and maintain server efficiency and performance across multiple operating systems. Configure and manage user accounts, service accounts, and system documentation. Implement database high availability and disaster recovery solutions (AlwaysOn, Failover Clusters, etc.). Support database backups, restores, migrations, and snapshot strategies. Tune and optimize databases for both transactional systems and data warehousing. Create, manage, and monitor SQL Server Agent alerts and scheduled jobs. Stay up to date with evolving technologies, and support special projects as assigned. Engage with vendors and stakeholders to evaluate tools and recommend solutions. Contribute to performance tuning strategies and provide guidance to end users. What You Bring to the Team
10+ years
of experience in database analysis and/or administration Strong
SQL Server
expertise (required); Oracle database experience is a plus Experience with
SQL tuning, backup/restore strategies, clustering , and
AlwaysOn Availability Groups Knowledge of efficient database architecture for both transactional and warehouse environments Familiarity with
Oracle 19c
administration and performance tuning (preferred) Comfortable working across complex, secure environments with mission-critical data Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills CompTIA Security+ or similar certification (recommended) Education & Clearance Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) Active TS/SCI clearance Why Join Us
