is the place for you! About Rise Thrift Rise Thrift, located at
114 Rogers Ave, Hightstown , sells gently used clothing, shoes, and household treasures at prices that everyone in the community can afford. Our inventory comes entirely from community donations, and our operations are powered by a team of amazing volunteers like YOU! Every purchase at Rise Thrift directly supports programs that help local families thrive. Volunteer Responsibilities When you volunteer at Rise Thrift, no two days are ever the same! Tasks may include: Greet customers with a smile and friendly energy. Organizing and restocking merchandise on the sales floor. Sorting and pricing donated items (and yes, spotting those top-name brands). Assisting with displays and creative merchandising. Helping keep the store clean, safe, and inviting. Supporting donation drop-offs with a little muscle and a lot of kindness. Volunteer Qualifications We welcome
all kinds of people and skill sets ! Whether you’re: Organized and detail-oriented Strong and ready to lift and sort Friendly and love talking to people Or just curious about getting involved in your community… No retail experience needed — we’ll train you. Bilingual volunteers are especially encouraged to join, and groups are always welcome. Scheduling & Who Can Join Volunteers are needed
Monday through Saturday, 10 AM – 7 PM, and Sundays, 11 AM – 4 PM. Great for students, retirees, homemakers, service groups, and anyone with a giving heart. Volunteers under 14 must bring a parent/guardian. Why Volunteer at Rise Thrift? Make new friends and be part of a supportive community. Learn new skills in retail, organization, and customer service.
