2 years direct OR RN liver/transplant experience Must have
strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience
(reflected on skills checklist) Must have experience
implanting organs
(not just harvesting)
Equipment Proficiency:
Must be proficient in
Misonix/CUSA Certifications (must have at submission unless noted):
BLS (required at submission) ACLS (required at submission) NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
On-Call Requirement:
1 shift per week + two (12-hour) weekend shifts per month (discussed with Nurse Manager at interview) Floating:

Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords, Hana Table, Steris Emergency Management:
Fire Safety Professional Knowledge/Skills:
Infection control, Laser safety, Specimen handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (time-out), Urinary bladder catheterization, Wound management Vaccine Requirements
