Role summary: Opening this Fall, Delilah Dallas is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Bartender to support in-venue leadership and uphold The h.wood Group's high standards for service, professionalism, and team performance. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They should be highly organized, skilled at multitasking, and passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. We will begin interviewing the last week of July. Responsibilities Maintain updated cocktail and liquor menus in conjunction with in-venue management. Maintain inventory control and receiving all liquor and related supplies in conjunction with in-venue management. Coordinate all weekly ordering in consultation with management. Lead all new hire beverage training in consultation with in-venue managers. Ensure compliance of all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and bar equipment. Assist in cocktail development for seasonal and trend changes. Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner, maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction. Recognize areas for improvement and offer positive solutions for change. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensure charges are accurate and return correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register. Perform all opening and closing duties. Perform other related duties as assigned. Attend monthly meetings with beverage director.
Requirements
Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service. Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting. Must be 21+ years of age.
