Job Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, multifamily, and retail construction projects
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine project scope
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and potential challenges
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders
Monitor project costs and update estimates throughout the construction process
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial, multifamily, and retail projects
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Timberline)
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
