As a System Administrator supporting the Radar Digital Product Line for one of our large defense companies, youll be responsible for delivering IT services and security compliance across Linux (primarily Red Hat) and Windows environments. Based initially in Marlborough, MA for onboarding and integration, youll transition to Portsmouth, RI to manage systems locally, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot and support radar software, simulations, and hardware development. Your day-to-day will include standing up and securing systems using VMware, VDI, and NetApp appliances; implementing and maintaining security controls aligned with NIST, RMF, DFARS, and DCSA standards; managing Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, and DHCP; and scripting with PowerShell, Python, or bash to automate tasks. Youll also work with switches, routers, and configuration tools like Ansible or ASL, and contribute to containerization efforts using Kubernetes. This role requires flexibility for occasional off-hours support in a 24x7 operational environment, and a clearance is required to begin work.
Compensation: $55/hr to $70/hr
