Senior/ Principal Software Engineer

OpenVault is interested in a top-notch, seasoned Python software developer with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, multithreaded software architecture and data base design. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and optimizing core algorithms and software modules used for network monitoring and optimization. Skills and Responsibilities: Solid Pythondevelopment skills (5+ years) Develop and maintain back-end web applications using Python and Django Knowledge of Object-oriented design, multithreading, and ability to write highly performant code. Experiencewith Cassandra, Postgres, etc., and a good understanding of SQL programming. Prior hands-on experience in developing microservices and K8s-based deployment in private cloud and AWS. Knowledge of analytics, machine learning, and statistical approaches to develop novel algorithms. Must have demonstrated expertise in using Pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, etc. Prior experience with Cable and Telco products would be a huge plus. Knowledge of DOCSIS, CMTS, Cable modems, and scalable data collection using various polling-based and streaming protocols will be preferred. Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
