Recore Electric is currently seeking a field lineman for our Industrial Electric Division. Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and repair industrial power distribution systems. Work with power distribution systems located inside and outside of industrial facilities, including overhead, underground, and indoor installations. Operate equipment such as bucket trucks, line trucks, mini excavators, skid steers, trenchers, boom lifts, and scissor lifts. Plan jobs to ensure compliance with approved safety and construction standards and procedures. Maintain work records and stock line trucks with tools and equipment; properly station line vehicles for the work to be done. Requirements / Experience
Previous experience in the electrical field or operating machinery. Experience setting poles and stringing wire; ability to operate equipment (e.g., aerial bucket trucks and other construction equipment), materials, and manpower safely and efficiently. Experience running electrical undergrounds. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong communication skills with fellow employees, supervisors, and customers. Ability to weigh efficiency and priorities when performing tasks. Ability to perform repetitive motion with hands, wrists, and fingers. Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods under varying climatic conditions. Comfort with working at heights. Ability to move or lift objects up to 50 pounds (or more). For the Employee
