MES Engineer Emerson Syncade & SQL Server

We are seeking a highly skilled MES Engineer with hands-on experience in Emerson Syncade and SQL Server administration. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects supporting electronic batch records (eBRs), recipe development, and system integration for global pharmaceutical clients. Design, configure, and implement MES solutions using Emerson Syncade, including recipe authoring, BOPs, and eLogs. Administer and optimize the SQL Server environment supporting Syncade, including backups, performance tuning, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional MES workflows. Support migration of Syncade objects from development to production environments. Develop and maintain validation documentation (URS, FS, IQ/OQ/PQ, RTM). Troubleshoot Syncade modules and SQL Server issues to ensure system reliability and compliance. Participate in change control processes and provide technical input during audits and inspections. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience with Emerson Syncade MES in a regulated (GxP) environment. Strong proficiency in SQL Server administration and database architecture. Familiarity with GMP manufacturing processes and electronic batch records. Experience with validation lifecycle documentation and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with other MES platforms (e.g., Werum PAS-X, Siemens Opcenter). Exposure to cell and gene therapy or single-use technologies.
