Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers? We are looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist to join our team at Norwood Medical. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices for payment.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process electronic payments and checks.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an AP/AR role or similar accounting position.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (Epicor, DocStar, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
