ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Job Summary
  • Monitor cash flow including the collection of dues and investment of funds; manage banking relationships.
  • Approve disbursements, monitor accounts payable and manage vendor relationships including IT and insurance consultants.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and timely/accurate financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards
  • Monitor and report budget including variance analysis.
  • Oversee annual audits and tax filing
  • Coordinate quarterly meetings with the Finance Board and attend/support the CBA Condo Board meetings.
  • Act as the main HR representative handling hiring, termination/resignations, payroll, and policy management.
Experience and Skills
About YOU!
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; CPA preferred.
  • 5 or more years' accounting experience; department leadership preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel; experience with iMIS and Microsoft Business Central a plus.
  • Experience in communications and presentations with non-profit board preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range:

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including internal equity, market data, the candidate's qualifications- including but not limited to specialty skills, prior relevant industry experience, relevant degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, MBA). The salary range estimate below is inclusive of all departments within the firm, and offered salaries may vary within the given range between departments. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $85,000 to $100,000 annualized, not including other competitive benefits.
