Crestview Aerospace manufactures complex assemblies and parts for use in various aerospace applications. We offer an integrated manufacturing process that delivers fabricated parts, in-house processing, and complex assemblies for both fixed and rotary‐wing aircraft. We serve leading OEMs such as Boeing, Bell, and Northrop Grumman on key programs including CH-47, V-22, and E-2. Description

Crestview Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GAAP and managing technical accounting issues, and financial statement preparation. As a key contributor to our organization in the Aerospace and Defense industry, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial integrity and reporting accuracy.

Essential Job Functions

  • Financial Operations: Managing daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Preparing and analyzing financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual), tracking, and analyzing financial information, and creating financial reports based on data analysis.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to accounting principles and regulations, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and managing tax filings and regulatory compliance.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist the Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Supervising, training, and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborating with finance and leadership teams to optimize financial performance and provide financial insights and recommendations to support company goals.

Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

  • Education: bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA/CMA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: five plus years of progressive experience in accounting, including experience in supervisory or management role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in a large-scale ERP system such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc. coupled with advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards with demonstrated experience with tax-related matters.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data and perform detailed financial analysis.
  • Leadership and Management: Strong leadership qualities, experience managing teams, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance professionals.
  • Problem-solving and Process Improvement: Ability to identify and address problems and opportunities within the company's financial operations.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulousness in managing financial records.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing financial landscapes and evolving regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily works in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
  • Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of materials.
  • May involve occasional travel to suppliers or other company locations.

Physical Requirements:

Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects,

small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively. Candidate must be able to maneuver up to twenty pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
