Position Overview and purpose Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm An Inventory Control Coordinator assists in stock taking, monitoring inventory and performs inventory control responsibilities in order to assist in the coordination of the incoming and outgoing of product. Essential Functions and Basic Duties Update and review all inspections and corrected inventories.

Perform scheduled cycle counts by reviewing documentation and verifying against perpetual stock in inventory.

Generate reports and documentation to research failure activity (e.g., missing stock, unscheduled product moves, non-executed scheduled product moves and more).

Update inventory based on results of failure research by entering data into WMS following appropriate Arcadia policies and procedures.

Generate follow-up reports to verify accuracy of adjustments.

Research for customer claims.

Participate in all scheduled audits by counting, researching, adjusting, and generating reports.

Verify item set-up and integrity in dimensions, code dating and UPCs. Evaluate set-up and slotting to best assist all areas of Arcadia operation including Receiving, Warehousing and Shipping.

Analyze inventory imbalances through research and physical checks to improve inventory integrity.

Identify process improvement and opportunities for change.

Print and purge monthly master lot, store one month locally in binder.

Supply all lot information on cut orders (i.e., tally previous pulled orders).

Audit product availability error report.

Comply with and ensure compliance with Company policies and safety procedures.

Monitor all automation equipment and controls to ensure proper inventory levels and accuracy.

Maintain a safe work environment.

Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-3 years of warehouse inventory-related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Knowledge of cataloguing inventory techniques and packaging of goods.

Basic technological knowledge and the ability to operate a PC.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and coordinate with other departments of the organization.

Must have a solid work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.

Performance Measurements To Be Determined PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION Finger Dexterity: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together. Talking: Must be able to frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly. Average Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. May be exposed to loud noise levels. Repetitive Motions: Movements frequently and regularly required include bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and safely climbing to perform work. Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare and read documents, as well as inspect products, or machinery. This position will also be required to perform travel, so must be meet the requirements of operating a vehicle. Physical Strength: Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment. Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, to operate a motor vehicle and forklift; strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work. May be exposed to vibration, chemicals, dust, mechanical hazards, and moving objects or other vehicles. Working Conditions Employees working in a cold storage facility may be exposed to cold and hot temperatures, loud noise levels, vibration, mechanical hazards, and moving objects or other vehicles. Employees may interact with staff and/or public and private representatives in interpreting and enforcing departmental policies and procedures.
