Toyotas Enterprise Risk Management Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Business Continuity Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead a team of 3-5 individuals, ensuring the continuous operation of business processes, disaster recovery, vendor continuity, and crisis management. This role is crucial in maintaining the resilience of our organization and ensuring that we are prepared for any disruptions or emergencies. Reporting to the National Manager - Enterprise IT Risk, the person in this role will support the Enterprise Risk Management department's objective to mature the business continuity program as it transforms to address the business resiliency risks present within the organization. What youll be doing Lead a team of high performing risk management professionals charged with completing business impact analysis, quality check and challenge of business continuity and technical recovery plans.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure business continuity and technical recovery strategies are integrated across the organization.

Ensure lessons learned from recovery tests and activities are documented and used to make improvements to recovery plans and capabilities.

Assess and monitor the business continuity and technology recovery plans of key vendors and suppliers.

Work with enterprise stakeholders to continuously improve Crisis Management and Emergency Response plan development

Ensure independent escalation of business continuity or technology recovery gaps, issues, and concerns, including emerging risks and regulatory focus areas

Demonstrate an excellent understanding of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity standards and frameworks. Establish yourself as a trusted advisor/partner in area of responsibility

What you bring

Bachelors Degree, or equivalent years of experience

5+ years of applicable experience in IT, disaster recovery planning, and/or risk management

Previous leadership experience developing teams and training key stakeholders across the organization.

Strong knowledge of disaster recovery principles and methodologies. Expertise in data backup and recovery procedures.

Ability to effectively partner with the business and technology teams, lead cross functional projects, and communicate with senior management

Added bonus if you have

Project management experience and successful track record of leading and delivering to time and quality

Experience with implementation and/or use of GRC systems

Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
