Our retail clients is looking for a Carrier Management Specialist to join their team. This role will require you to be oniste 4 days weekly, working 1 day remotely. You will oversee the end-to-end management of carrier performance to ensure freight is picked up and delivered on time and in full. This includes coordinating appointment scheduling and managing load assignments to maximize efficiency and service quality. You will serve as a point of contact for both carriers and brokers, maintaining strong relationships to resolve issues quickly and effectively. A critical part of your role will be analyzing performance data, using Excel to build reports and pivot tables, and identifying areas for improvement through root cause analysis. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and leadership to drive operational success, problem-solve issues as they arise, and ensure a high standard of service delivery across all carrier operations.

Additional experience in managing carrier performance and issue resolution Exposure to both client and carrier-facing environments Strong track record of on-time delivery performance improvement Minimum 1+ year of experience in carrier management, load management, appointment management, or supply chain Experience working for a broker or in a CSR (Customer Service Representative) capacity High school diploma with at least 5 years of industry experience Basic Excel skills, including ability to build pivot tables Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis Effective communication and organizational skills
