Member Service Representative/Loan Officer
at its Portland location. Join Our Team as a Member Service Representative/Loan Officer! About the Role: Maine Savings FCU is looking for an MSR/Loan Officer, whose mission is to foster cooperation with members and build their trust by sharing knowledge of our products and how they can positively impact their financial lives. If you have experience in retail banking, processing loan approvals and denials, opening/closing accounts, and a passion for helping others, this could be a great fit! What Youll Do: Advocate for our Members:
Provide friendly, prompt, professional, and accurate service to members and coworkers. Help members understand our productsranging from unsecured personal, secured vehicle loans, VISA, debt consolidation loans, cross-sell opportunities, and make recommendations. Communication:
Interview members for consumer loan applications, ensuring compliance with credit union policies. Deliver loan decisions to members within minutes of their application. Compliance:
Ensure all loan collateral is properly insured and demonstrate understanding and compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity training related to workflow. Retail Knowledge:
Assist the Teller line periodically by processing financial transactions and balancing cash drawers. Demonstrate competency in Digital Banking. What Were Looking For: Relationship Builder:
Excels at fostering relationships and building trust with members and coworkers. Team Player:
Able to work as an MSR/LO and have Teller knowledge when needed. Product Knowledge:
Strong understanding of all credit union products to effectively serve members. Requirements: 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience in conflict resolution, relationship building, and cooperation within and outside the organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
