Job Description
The WTX Developer will be a key member of the IT Professional Services team, responsible for planning, designing, and developing portal solutions, as well as performing production support activities. The role requires experience with IBM WebSphere Portal, WebSphere WCM, WebSphere Commerce, WebSphere Lombardi, and/or IBM Web Experience Factory. Responsibilities include conceptual and solution design, implementation, requirements gathering, documentation, application integration, and support for testing, development, and cutover activities. Additional roles include: Designing services such as web services and Service Component Architecture (SCA), and establishing development patterns for composite applications. Utilizing IBMs Business Process tools: WebSphere Business Modeler, WebSphere Process Server, and WebSphere Integration Developer, including model importation and BPEL-based service orchestration. Developing J2EE applications using IBMs Rational Software Architect, including creating Service Models, Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams for model-driven development. Using IBMs ESB tools like WebSphere Message Broker and WebSphere ESB for message routing and enterprise application integration. Managing Service Repository facilities with SOA Backplane technologies such as DataPower and SOA Software tools. Qualifications
Education Requirements: Qualifications include: Experience delivering complex WebSphere Portal solutions. Design and development of J2EE and WebSphere Portal solutions. Participation in design and development efforts, applying best practices and design patterns. Architectural experience with J2EE and WebSphere Portal solutions. At least 5 years of IT and software development experience, including server-side Java/J2EE web applications. Experience with WebSphere Portal v6.1 or 7 (JSR-168, JSR-268, WSRP). Development experience with themes, skins, portlets, and WCM customization. Experience with IBM Connections integration. Proficiency with RAD, Portlet Factory, and Eclipse IDE.
