Travel MUST HAVE OPEN HEART AND VASCULAR EXPERIENCE Schedule Notes: 12 weeks/40 hr/wk; 8 hour shifts Day Shift - 0630-1500 with 2 weekday calls and every 3 th-4th weekend call Registered Nurse (Operating Room) - Job Overview Location: South Carolina Positions Available: 2 Setting: Hospital/Surgical Department Role Type: Direct Patient Care with Nursing Assessment Responsibilities Core Responsibilities: Scrub and Circulate: Required - must have demonstrable experience. Patient Care: Apply professional nursing theory and practice to deliver and evaluate ongoing patient care. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies; maintain a safe environment. Problem Solving: Identify patient or procedural issues and recommend solutions. Documentation: Accurately prepare and maintain clinical records and reports. Communication & Collaboration: Maintain strong working relationships with patients, staff, and the public. Required Skills & Abilities: Ability to scrub and circulate in the OR. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Clear verbal and written communication. Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergencies. Maintain professional relationships and contribute to a collaborative environment. Demonstrated knowledge of professional nursing techniques, hospital protocols, and patient safety practices. Educational Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing - Required BSN - Preferred, or required within 5 years of hire or transfer (depending on department transfer status) Licensure/Certifications: Current RN license in South Carolina or a recognized NCSBN Compact State (must not be a permanent SC resident if using compact license) - Required American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers - Required Work Demands/Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting/moving patients. Intermittent lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. Constant hand/arm use; frequent hearing and verbal communication. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious materials. Work in a moderately noisy, high-stress environment. May require on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, or irregular hours. About Talent4Health
