The Opportunity We are actively seeking an enthusiastic

Associate Director

who will propel growth and client success for utility and energy clients. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker and relationship builder who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is dedicated to advancing the energy sector. What You Will Do: Lead strategic consulting projects

for investor-owned utilities and energy providers, guiding them from problem definition to solution implementation. Generate client-ready insights

using market research, data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and financial modeling to inform strategic decisions. Drive impactful client results

in key areas such as decarbonization strategy, grid modernization, customer transformation, and digital operations. Oversee project teams , ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes and fostering strong collaboration among team members. Support business development

efforts by contributing to proposals, developing client relationships, and identifying growth strategies. Collaborate across Guidehouse’s practice areas

to provide integrated solutions combining strategy, technology, and operations. Mentor junior team members , promoting a culture of learning, diversity, and excellence within the team. What You Will Need: Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience in management consulting or corporate strategy focused on the energy or utilities sector,

or

a Master’s degree with 5-8 years of experience Strong understanding of utility business models and regulatory frameworks Demonstrated expertise in areas such as:

Energy transition and decarbonization strategies Customer experience and digital engagement Grid modernization and resilience initiatives IT/OT integration and enterprise platforms

Proven track record of structuring and leading problem-solving efforts and effectively communicating with senior stakeholders Experience managing teams and delivering complex projects successfully Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment Able to work onsite at a Guidehouse Office or Client Office location Why Join Guidehouse?
