Support Technician. To provide the essential duties and responsibilities in accordance with all applicable regulations and policies, while maintaining all quality and safety standards.

What you will be responsible for:

Assist airframe technicians with structural modifications, repairs, and component installations on various aircraft.

Support fabrication and installation of structural components, including fasteners.

Remove and install aircraft interior components such as sidewalls, ceiling panels, and cardo bay panels (forward and aft).

Perform removal and replacement of aircraft seat tracks and assist in skin repair and replacement tasks.

Support fabrication and repair of airframe parts including shear ties, stringers, floor beams, frames, webs, and bulkheads.

Ensure compliance with technical data and safety standards during all maintenance and repair activities.

Qualifications:

What you will need to be successful in this role:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Must be able to read and comprehend technical direction and documentation.

Reads, understands and implements directions of appropriate maintenance manuals to identify and locate associated components on the aircraft.

Asks questions as necessary to increase knowledge or skill.

Maintains his/her work area in an orderly and clean manner.

Records his/her time worked as directed by his/her supervisor

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $16.59 to $20.11 hourly. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
