As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, youll play a key role in attracting and hiring top-tier talent to support our growing commercial construction projects. From project managers to field crews, youll help build the teams that bring our buildings to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
- Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Finding and engaging qualified candidates through diverse sourcing methods.
- Managing recruitment from start to finishscreening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Track and report key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire).
- Building talent pipelines and nurturing relationships with potential candidates.
- Representing the company at career fairs, networking events, and employer branding initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition; construction industry preferred.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter) and HR databases.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A natural networker who thrives on relationship-building.
- Expertise in direct sourcing and passive candidate engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to conduct structured and behavioral interviews.
- Tech-savvy with experience using applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social recruiting platforms.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple requisitions.
- Collaborates effectively with hiring managers and department leaders.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience in commercial construction recruitment.
