Under general supervision of senior team members, this role provides
DevOps engineering expertise
for KeyBank’s cloud and hybrid computing environments. The engineer interfaces with vendors and internal teams to deliver seamless CI/CD and infrastructure automation experiences. This position may serve as a technical lead on small to medium projects and assist with larger initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing technology standards, contributing to white papers or presentations, and providing consulting for DevOps tools and pipelines. The role requires analytical thinking to ensure capacity and performance levels meet business needs.
Essential Functions
Provide DevOps engineering support for cloud and hybrid environments.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and ARM templates.
Interface with internal technology teams to maintain and support environments.
Assist with testing and deployment of cloud-native and hybrid applications.
Lead small to medium projects; support large and enterprise-wide projects.
Apply diagnostic and analytical skills to solve technical problems.
Implement tactical solutions under supervision.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of Azure services, DevOps practices, and cloud computing.
Communicate effectively in both individual and group settings.
Establish and maintain strong internal client relationships.
Escalate issues to senior team members and management as needed.
Apply ITIL concepts in daily operations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.

3+ years
of technical experience in

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $68,000 to $95,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
