Director of Nursing (DON) – Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Millsboro, Delaware
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical team at a skilled rehabilitation and nursing center in Willsboro, Delaware. The DON will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and clinical leadership across the facility.
What You’ll Do
Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the nursing department.
Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and care standards in line with state, federal, and CMS regulations.
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to foster professional growth and retention.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for the nursing department.
Participate in and oversee infection control, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives.
Handle emergency and on-call responsibilities as required.

Qualifications
Current RN license in Delaware (BSN or MSN preferred)
Proven leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility, MUST have experience as a DON for 2 years
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, compliance, and survey readiness
Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills
Ability to manage high-volume responsibilities and maintain a positive, resident-first culture
