It's designed to take deliveries away from congested streets, make deliveries available to more people, and benefit local businesses. The Serve fleet has been delighting merchants, customers, and pedestrians along the way in Los Angeles while doing commercial deliveries. We're looking for talented individuals who will grow robotic deliveries from surprising novelty to efficient ubiquity. Who We Are
We are tech industry veterans in software, hardware, and design who are pooling our skills to build the future we want to live in. We are solving real-world problems leveraging robotics, machine learning and computer vision, among other disciplines, with a mindful eye towards the end-to-end user experience. Our team is agile, diverse, and driven. We believe that the best way to solve complicated dynamic problems is collaboratively and respectfully. Role Overview Serve is seeking a seasoned real estate professional to develop and execute a comprehensive property sourcing and property management strategy. Successful hires will contribute to a wide variety of cross-functional matters including finance, legal, sourcing locations, negotiating leases, and managing properties. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing shifting priorities in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Own the pipeline of new locations to support Serve's strategic needs Coordinate with operations, finance and legal to evaluate new locations Conduct property visits of both existing and potential properties Negotiate leases and own relationships with real estate brokers and new and existing landlords Manage Serve's current portfolio of locations and maintain compliance with existing leases Manage, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors as needed to service properties Track, forecast, and communicate all real estate related expenses and contracts with the finance and legal teams Qualifications 5+ years of commercial real estate experience, with at least 2 years of experience negotiating commercial real estate leases Experience managing commercial real estate properties You have a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) What Makes You Standout Previous experience as a commercial real estate broker or experience in real estate acquisitions Previous experience as a property manager Willingness to take on a broad range of tasks is essential
