We are expanding our Human Resources function and seeking an HR Business Partner who will align HR strategies with the business objectives, act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, and provide strategic guidance and operational support across all HR matters. This is a highly visible role that works directly with leadership across corporate divisions to influence business outcomes, people, and culture. What you will be doing and how you will contribute Responsibilities HR Strategy and Business Partnership Implements Global HR initiatives locally Provides expert advice to management and employees on HR initiatives Acts as a business partner for the assigned region, supporting organizational change and communication Participates in planning with leadership to ensure strategies and policies are aligned and consistently applied Collaborates with corporate leaders to understand business objectives and identifies best HR strategies in talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development, employee relations, rewards and recognition, and change management Coaches managers and team members, focusing on leadership effectiveness Supports organizational change initiatives and safety initiatives across functions
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Leads recruitment in collaboration with line managers within the assigned region Ensures adherence to global talent acquisition standards Designs and oversees onboarding processes aligned with corporate values and compliance Gathers data and analyzes reports for quarterly and annual reporting; uses HR analytics to inform decisions
Performance & Talent Management
Drives performance management and career advancement with global standards Guides leaders in delivering feedback and managing performance Supports talent reviews, succession planning, and individual development plans
Total Rewards / Compensation
Advises on local structures and resource planning Manages compensation budgets and equitable pay structures Aligns incentives with desired behaviors and business outcomes
Learning & Development
Identifies skill gaps and training needs with managers Promotes continuous learning aligned with global programs
Employee Relations and Engagement
Fosters transparent communication between staff and management Addresses employee concerns and mediates conflicts Promotes a fair and positive work environment and ensures open communication Leads engagement initiatives and supports well-being and work-life balance Builds a culture of employee engagement to improve performance Ensures compliance with the Bystronic Code of Conduct and fair administration of policies
HR Operations and Compliance
Oversees HR administration, policies, and procedures Ensures compliance with local labor laws and data protection regulations Manages termination processes and ensures professional offboarding
Qualifications
Your education & experience:
Minimum of 10 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong system knowledge, preferably UKG and SAP SuccessFactors / Employee Central Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related discipline required; Masters degree preferred SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification(s) preferred Proven track record recruiting and developing high-caliber individuals and building successful teams Strong business acumen and experience navigating complex HR issues in a commercial setting Experience designing and leading Talent Management, Organizational Development, and operational effectiveness initiatives Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders Exceptional collaboration, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills Discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information Results-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects
