Direct access to your earnings daily Job Summary The Lead Environmental Services Technician assists managers with the daily operational housekeeping activities and monitors cleanliness standards in a healthcare environment. Responsibilities include: Directing employee work schedules and supervising cleaning staff. Cleaning patient/resident rooms and facilities, and disposing of waste. Maintaining inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies and equipment. Performing administrative tasks for ordering housekeeping supplies. Checking and maintaining equipment to ensure it is in working order. Monitoring the use of cleaning agents, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Issuing keys, clean linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment to cleaning staff. Ensuring housekeeping processes comply with healthcare organization and regulatory codes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Work experience in environmental services is beneficial.
