We are seeking a highly creative and dynamic Senior Social Media Manager to lead and transform our presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Reddit. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution: you will be a creative strategist and a producer who generates engaging social media content that resonates with a diverse audience. You will establish and own the social media function end-to-end, reporting to the VP of Marketing and collaborating with a talented team. You will shape strategy, act as a creative quality check across channels, and rapidly create and iterate content. Your mission is to grow vibrant communities, create content with viral potential, and authentically represent our brand to people of all ages who care about mental fitness. Key focus areas include spotting trends early, creating culture-shaping content, engaging authentically in online communities, and representing a brand that helps people achieve their mental fitness goals. Responsibilities include leading the social media function, collaborating with teams, and driving growth with autonomy. This is a fully remote role with geographic preferences as noted above. Creative Direction & Strategy: serve as a key creative voice, ensure consistency across social, ads, websites, and blogs; generate fresh ideas and content concepts; maintain high execution quality and experiment with new formats, including AI. Content Creation & Production: independently create social content (written, visual, video, memes, etc.) across formats and platforms; spot emerging trends; manage a social media calendar; craft messages that resonate with a diverse, global audience. Community Engagement: launch and grow presences on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Reddit; participate credibly in online communities (e.g., Reddit) with conversations, AMAs, and thought leadership; foster authentic two-way engagement. Analytics & Optimization: use data to inform decisions and refine strategies; demonstrate data-driven growth; integrate AI tools to accelerate creativity and efficiency. What Were Looking For
Impressive portfolio showing social growth and viral content on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Excellent taste and strong writing ability; a storyteller who can adapt across mediums and raise the bar for outward-facing content. Ability to independently create engaging content from ideation to execution, with credibility in cognitive health, mindfulness, and education. Proven ability to spot and capitalize on trends quickly. Comfort using analytics to optimize strategy and a track record of data-driven decision-making. Strong project management skills, with independence and collaboration. Genuine interest in helping people improve their lives and achieve mental fitness goals. Bonus Skills
Experience with influencer marketing and affiliate partnerships. Familiarity with LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts. Solid understanding of SEO for cross-channel growth. Leadership experience and people management. Experience collaborating in distributed teams. How We Hire
