ASRC Federal is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support a State Department customer located in Arlington, Virginia. Our team provides support for a campus-wide network, local and remote servers, and storage devices. We are looking for a Network Engineer with the technical expertise to implement, maintain, and support the network infrastructure for a campus network. Responsibilities Support Primary Network (OpenNet) and DINs Backbone systems Maintain Cisco routers, Cisco firewalls, F5 load balancers, NetApp storage, and Wi-Fi infrastructure Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring optimal performance for distance learning initiatives Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations and systems in line with FAM guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in an Information Technology field Certifications: Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP, or equivalent preferred 5+ years in networking systems, load balancing, and campus-based networking Secret Clearance required Technical Skills: Proficient with NetApp storage, VMware, Cisco wireless (Prime management, AP configuration, signal assessment) Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and Cisco router configuration Experience with F5 LTM load balancers, packet analysis tools, and next-gen firewalls (ASA) Familiar with backup solutions (Commvault, Syncsort) and fiber connectivity
