Staff AWS Connect Developer
to join one of our top clients in
Denver, CO.
This position is perfect for a technical expert with a strong background in AWS Connect architecture and development. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Staff AWS Connect Developer: Design and implement AWS Connect contact flows, including IVR menus, call routing, and backend integrations. Configure AWS Connect instances, queues, phone numbers, and custom contact attributes based on business needs. Create serverless solutions using AWS Lambda for data processing, database operations, and business logic execution within contact flows. Integrate AWS Connect with services such as DynamoDB, S3, Lex, and other AWS tools to enhance performance and capabilities. Set up and manage AWS API Gateway for exposing Lambda functions via RESTful APIs, including authentication, rate-limiting, and security configurations. Monitor system performance using AWS CloudWatch; identify and implement optimizations for call flows, routing strategies, and scalability. Document technical designs, code, deployment steps, and best practices to ensure repeatable and secure implementations. Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deploy solutions. Provide troubleshooting support and continuous improvements for AWS Connect infrastructure and custom Contact Control Panels (CCPs). Stay up to date with the latest AWS Connect best practices, tools, and industry trends. Required Skills for the Staff AWS Connect Developer: 6+ years of experience in AWS Connect design, development, and implementation. Deep expertise in AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. Experience with IVR systems, telephony integrations, and advanced contact routing strategies. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architectures. Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to debug complex cloud systems. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters preferred). Preferred Skills: AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with custom CCP development and deployment. Whats in it for you?
