Position Details

Title: Cloud Administrator Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, M-F, with some flexibility. *This position is ONSITE in an office setting, with 1 day remote after 90 days* Ideal Candidates: The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Azure, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V Clusters, Microsoft Server, PowerShell, Networking, and various other IT technologies. Location: Gibbstown, NJ (08027) Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Position Overview

As a Cloud Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our IT operations, responsible for designing, deploying, and managing critical systems. You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, from Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 to Hyper-V clusters and network infrastructure. Job Functions

Cloud Management: Architect, deploy, and administer Azure solutions, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost-effectiveness. Microsoft 365 Administration: Oversee and maintain Microsoft 365 services, such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune, implementing security policies and providing end-user support. Server Infrastructure: Manage and support Hyper-V Clusters and Microsoft Server environments, guaranteeing high availability, scalability, and performance. Automation & Scripting: Develop and implement PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks, enhance system monitoring, and optimize infrastructure management. Network Engineering: Maintain and configure network components, troubleshoot network issues, implement security measures, and optimize network performance (experience with Fortinet a plus!). Active Directory & Group Policy: Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs to ensure secure authentication, name resolution, IP address management, and centralized policy enforcement. Remote Access & Support: Administer Remote Desktop Services (RDS) to provide secure remote access to applications and desktops. System Maintenance: Implement and manage patch management systems to ensure timely software updates and security patching. Data Protection & Recovery: Implement and maintain backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity. Collaboration & Communication: Provide exceptional customer service, collaborate effectively with the IT team, and communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additional duties/tasks as needed/requested by management.

Qualifications

2-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role. Candidates with less experience will be considered if they hold relevant Azure and/or cloud certifications. Deep understanding of Azure cloud services (VMs, storage, networking, security). Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune). Experience with Hyper-V Clusters and Microsoft Server administration. Strong PowerShell scripting skills. Network engineering expertise (Fortinet experience is a plus!). Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management. Familiarity with Remote Desktop Services (RDS). Experience with patch management and backup/disaster recovery solutions. Excellent customer service, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. Travel to remote sites when required. Availability to be on call to provide support services during off hours as needed.

Time management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in infrastructure management, documentation, and troubleshooting. Critical thinking: Ability to analyze situations, evaluate options, and make sound decisions based on a thorough understanding of the infrastructure and business requirements. Professionalism: Demonstrated professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to ethical standards.

Desired Skills

Automation experience. Experience with Azure Local or Azure Stack HCI. Familiarity with SCCM, Veeam, Power Automate/Apps, Microsoft SQL, D365. Knowledge of AWS. Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, Microsoft 365).

Education/Certifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Business Process or IT specific certifications a plus.

Safety

Complies with all safety regulations; maintains a safe work environment at all times. Adheres to always wearing the proper PPE/Safety equipment. Understands and complies with all written safety, health, and environmental procedures. Attends all required scheduled Health, Safety and Environmental training sessions. Participates in required Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and programs. Perform required administrative functions related to Health, Safety and Environmental functions such as completing forms, checklists, and log sheets.

Physical Demands: Employee is required to walk for extended periods of time; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend; kneel and climb. The employee will occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: This position requires one to mainly work in an office environment; intermittently in a warehouse, production, or lab environment. Safety gear is required when working in certain areas of facilities.
