Senior Network Engineer Location :
Montgomery, AL; Columbus, OH; Oklahoma City, OK; San Antonio, TX Clearance :
Secret Clearance Responsibilities : Design, implement, and support network architecture for the DISA Datacenter and Hybrid Multi-Cloud enterprise network infrastructure. Support network services and products including routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, email gateways, VPN, LAN, WAN, cryptographic devices, and automation systems. Support cyber defense operations with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and other security architectures. Create design solutions and implementation guides based on DoD and industry best practices, referencing ITIL frameworks. Configure and maintain DISA Application Delivery Controllers, including F5 BIG-IP modules. Develop documentation on licensing, architecture, security policies, and system configuration. Build and document network-enabled applications considering infrastructure, security, and performance requirements. Ensure lifecycle compliance with security controls and STIG guidelines. Engineer architectural changes responding to technological and security updates. Prepare technical documentation, whitepapers, and briefings to support engineering efforts. Adhere to DISA standards, support technical evaluations, and lead working groups. Ensure compliance with DISA, DoD policies, and directives from USCC and JFHQ-DODIN. Required skills : Active SECRET or higher security clearance 10+ years of experience in complex Data Center and Enterprise Networks in multi-vendor environments DoD 8570.01-M / 8140.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+) Relevant secondary certifications (Cisco, F5, Juniper, Palo Alto, Cloud) Experience in team leadership or management Excellent communication skills Preferred : Bachelors degree or higher Extensive knowledge of network protocols and technologies including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, VLAN, IPv4/IPv6, IPSEC, and firewalls Experience with SDN/NFV, cloud management (AWS/AZURE), and network security practices Knowledge of software modules like F5 BIG-IP, GTM, APM, ASM Proficiency with government systems for system management and performance tracking If interested, please send your latest resume to usman.khan@iquasar.com, including your availability, rate expectations, and contact information.
