Senior Complex Claims Specialist MPL

Location: GA, NYC, IL or CT |145K 165K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package We are currently recruiting for a Senior Complex Claims Specialist MPL (Misc Professional Lines) in Atlanta, GA - Dunwoody / Sandy Springs area, NYC (midtown), Hartford, CT or Chicago, IL (hybrid schedule in-office 2 days). The primary role of a Senior Complex Claims Specialist is to analyze liability claim submissions (mid to high severity) for potential coverage, set adequate case reserves, promptly and professionally respond to inquiries from customers and their brokers, and to proactively drive resolution of claims arising from MPL. 145K 165K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package Responsibilities: Adjust to resolution highest severity claims Review and analyze claim documentation and legal filings Set strategy and maximize early settlement opportunities, leading investigation, negation and resolutions Draft complex technical coverage analyses

Lead litigation strategy including leading trials, mediations and/or settlement conferences

Continually assess exposures and adequacy of claim reserves

Maintain timely and accurate file documentation/information in claims system Identify and provide solutions for emerging exposures and trends Mentor team members Develop content and conduct trainings for Claims & Underwriting as needed Requirements: JD from an ABA-accredited law school and bar admission in good standing or 10+ years relevant claims experience Expert knowledge in MPL Experience managing severe claims through investigation, negotiation and leading litigation Excellent analytical skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills No sponsorship. 145K 165K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package.
