About the Role: The Total Rewards Associate supports the Total Rewards-Benefits team in implementation and execution of programs. Position integrates assigned duties within Total Rewards and Human Resources as well as Payroll and other departments. This position is based in ourheadquarters in Milwaukee, WI and offers a hybrid work schedule:in-office Tuesday through Thursday, withremote work on Monday and Friday. The Impact Youll Make : HR Operations Support: Serve as a liaison to the HR Operations team by answering questions, mentoring, and leading HR Ops/Total Rewards check-in calls. Promote collaboration across teams. Associate Experience: Resolve escalated associate issues with professionalism and compassion. Support onboarding, new hire benefits education, and open enrollment. Vendor & Issue Resolution: Partner with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve benefit-related issues promptly. Manage eligibility and enrollment concerns. Financial & Data Accuracy: Oversee funding files, vendor invoices, and budget tracking. Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate deductions and reconcile discrepancies. HRIS & Data Integrity: Process HRIS transactions (benefit events, status changes, LOA entries, payroll deductions), maintain data integrity through auditing/testing, and generate reports. COBRA & Retiree Programs: Administer COBRA and retiree healthcare programs, including vendor management. Communication & Documentation: Assist in developing and implementing benefit communication strategies. Maintain forms, plan documents, and handbooks. Program & Committee Support: Contribute to Total Rewards initiatives, projects, and reporting. Provide administrative support to the Total Rewards team, Healthcare Subcommittee, and Retirement Subcommittee. Surveys & External Requests: Complete benefit surveys and respond to external data requests. Continuous Improvement & Backup Support: Recommend process improvements to enhance team efficiency, prioritize workload, and provide backup support as needed. What Youll Bring to Baird: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources or related field with at least 0-2 years of benefit administration experience. Solid communication and follow-up skills.
