Branded Licensing Manager

This role is based remote but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Warren, MI - Cadillac Tower you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation. We are seeking a dynamic Branded Licensing Manager to lead the development and execution of licensing strategies that elevate our brand presence in culture while driving measurable revenue growth. This role will identify and secure licensing opportunities across fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, and consumer products that align with our brand values and strengthen our cultural relevance. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and dealmakersomeone who understands how to position a brand in today's cultural landscape, can negotiate impactful licensing agreements, and knows how to translate partnerships into long-term business success. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive licensing strategy that increases brand awareness and generates new revenue streams. Identify, evaluate, and secure licensing partnerships across various categories including but not limited to apparel, accessories, lifestyle products, videogames, entertainment, and collaborations. Build relationships with licensees, ensuring alignment with brand vision, tone, and standards. Manage contract negotiations, royalty structures, and performance metrics to maximize profitability. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, merchandise, product, legal, and finance teams to activate and manage licensing programs. Monitor market trends, cultural movements, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for brand growth. Track licensing performance, report on revenue impact, and recommend optimizations. Ensure brand integrity and continued elevation across all licensed products and experiences. People Leader: Responsible for leading a team that manages royalties, merchandising, brand protection, and contracts. Develop team members to enhance skillset. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in licensing, merchandising, project management. Proven performance with licensing is a must. Proven experience in managing large-scale partnership agreements preferred. Strong understanding of both licensing, gaming, diecast, and apparel preferred. Prior leadership experience, effective communicator, and strong project management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Experience in cross-cultural communication and a strong understanding of global market nuances. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is: ($124,200-$194,300). Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
