Overview

As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the Salesforce development lifecycle and deployment activities. You will design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines. You will take part in ensuring development teams follow DevOps procedures, best practices and SDLC principles. Who are you? You are a Salesforce DevOps Engineer who has worked on Salesforce projects. You have experience administering Salesforce platform and a good understanding of the platform and its metadata. You possess holistic experience across the platform and are willing to use pro-code and no-code solutions where they are suitable. You enjoy collaborating with the wider Salesforce team and working on cross-functional projects together. You are experienced with agile and Scrum methodologies and using deployment tools to support the release management process across multiple sandboxes. In addition, you can support and advise the rest of the team on the topic of Salesforce development lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). What will you do?

Your primary activities include (but are not limited to): DevOps: Using Salesforce tools to commit, analyze, validate, deploy and release changes. Perform Release Management activities. Design, implement, document and maintain Salesforce Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines. Maintain the configuration of Salesforce tools, document development lifecycle and deployment processes. Coaching and training colleagues. Adhering to Salesforce best practices. Perform Salesforce Administrator activities. Collaborating with IT and developers of other systems to integrate across the business. Supporting Salesforce development teams on a daily basis. Working closely with business, gathering requirements. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

At least 3 years of Salesforce experience. At least 2 years of Salesforce DevOps experience using Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset or Flosum. Good understanding of git and branching strategies. Certified Salesforce Administrator Good understanding of Salesforce and its Metadata API. Knowledge of Salesforce Sales, Service, as well as an understanding of standard Salesforce implementation processes, including design patterns, release management, deployment strategies, and testing. Ability to work independently. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and other Salesforce team members. Proficient in Salesforce development lifecycle and environment strategy. Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications. Experience working with large datasets and bulkification. Ability to gather requirements and present and communicate solutions to stakeholders. Ability to create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation. Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and contribute to a positive team environment. Desirable

Additional Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer and/or Salesforce Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect. A Bachelors/Postgraduate degree, a professional qualification, or relevant experience. Competency in other programming languages, development tools, DevSecOps and IT in general. Demonstrates continued personal and professional development. Knowledge of Experience Cloud products Active participation in the Salesforce community. What we offer
