The AI Digital Operations Specialist II oversees the efficiency and development of Generali's digital assets. As the AI Digital Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing digitization initiatives, overseeing their implementation, and evaluating their effectiveness. The role focuses on enhancing existing digital assets and identifying and deploying new assets with a strong focus on AI. You will analyze market data and interact with internal and external stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Digital Operations. Responsibilities Lead digital initiatives, including identifying and prioritizing projects and overseeing project execution. Collaborate with Operations, IT, and third-party technology partners to leverage data and reporting, optimize efficiencies, and drive improvements using technology. Develop and implement solutions to digitize services with a focus on Operations. Ongoing research of potential use cases for Generative AI technologies and implementation at scale, including KPI monitoring, efficiency optimization and impact measurement. Manage and optimize digital tools, platforms, and processes to ensure smooth operations; analyze tool performance and implement digitization strategies. Provide training and support on digital tools and stay updated on latest technologies. Deliver digital/automation roadmaps by mapping needs with technology, focusing on AI; assess digital needs and develop strategies for leveraging digital technologies to drive efficiency, automation, and transformation. Analyze and document automation solutions, processes, and workflows; prepare comprehensive documentation. Extract, transform, and load data to facilitate automation and generate insights; build dashboards to track efficiency and results. Conduct rigorous testing of automated processes and digital assets for accuracy, reliability, and security compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, provide training on automation initiatives, and maintain stakeholder relationships. Stay up to date with automation technologies and best practices; benchmark industry practices and communicate actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required. Bachelors degree in business management, Information Technology, or related field. 2-4 years of digital transformation, project management or operational excellence. Strong experience in data analysis and Excel; ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. Experience managing complex projects with high-quality deliverables and new technology rollouts. Organized, efficient, and able to manage complex projects from start to finish; strong communication skills to convey insights. Flexibility to learn new concepts and technologies; comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience with Power BI and Python. Understanding and experience with Generative AI. IT, project management and business/operations experience at the IT-business interface.
Travel
Up to 5% domestic travel may be required.
Salary Range
$85,000 - $120,000 annually
Location & Schedule
This is a hybrid role based out of San Diego, CA. Onsite 2-3 days a week and work-from-home 2-3 days a week. Hours are generally MondayFriday during regular business hours (approximately 8:00am5:00pm); occasional overtime may be required. Company Context
