None Your Role: Join Guidehouse as a Strategic Business Solutions Consultant and play a crucial role in driving business development and crafting innovative solutions within our State and Local Government practice. You will be integral in shaping and presenting technical solutions during early-stage client engagements and procurement processes, ensuring our offerings effectively align with client demands and project deliverability. This position requires close collaboration with internal leaders, technical teams, delivery personnel, and vendor partners to support proposals, demonstrations, and pursuit materials. We seek an individual capable of translating complex functional and technical concepts for diverse stakeholders while contributing to Guidehouse's expanding modernization and platform-based services portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Work with pursuit teams to grasp client objectives and devise customized solution strategies based on known requirements or RFPs. Assist in proposal writing, preparation for oral presentations, and live client demonstrations using your technical acumen. Collaborate with delivery leads and platform specialists to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and adhere to Guidehouse's implementation methods. Hold working sessions with clients and vendors to collect requirements, evaluate solution possibilities, and document technical assumptions. Stay updated on platform capabilities (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Power Platform) and assess the implications of configurations or licensing on solution strategies. Create and manage comprehensive solution documentation, including integration flow diagrams, functional use cases, and architecture visuals. Ensure coordination among platform vendors, product partners, and internal teams for alignment on scope and dependencies. Engage in knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the solutioning process and develop reusable materials for proposals. Possess a broad technical understanding to link business challenges with effective technical solutions. Define and contribute to project scope, levels of effort, and rough orders of magnitude for upcoming work. Differentiate between technical and business requirements, facilitating collaboration across teams to achieve success. Balance immediate goals with long-term vision, understanding the distinction between foundational work and transformative initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Five or more years of experience in consulting, systems integration, technical sales, or related solution development roles. Strong familiarity with modern enterprise platforms, specifically at least one: Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in pre-sales or solution design activities, contributing to proposals and technical presentations. Adept at interpreting and transforming client requirements into compelling solution narratives and implementation strategies. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrable comfort in presenting to and collaborating across diverse teams. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field. Experience supporting public sector proposals or engaging in state/local government procurement. Knowledge of partner ecosystems and platform-specific licensing models. Experience drafting statements of work, level-of-effort assessments, or solution pricing strategies. Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery methodologies and understanding platform implementation phases. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environments. The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $113,000.00 and $188,000.00. Salary decisions will consider various factors, including skills, experience, training, security clearances, licenses, and other organizational requirements.
