Role Description: As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for developing cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks. You will implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and support a robust, hybrid cloud infrastructure that provides the necessary backbone for delivering high-bandwidth services. Key Responsibilities: Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to enable PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices Analyze applications and make recommendations for migration to cloud environments Provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization of cloud services Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for the use of cloud services Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design Work independently designing and developing new software products for cloud environments Enhance existing cloud software for performance and scalability Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities Support the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret) Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure seamless integration Qualifications: Clearance Level: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years focused on cloud technologies Experience with SAFe Agile framework Strong understanding of cloud security requirements in government environments Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) preferred Advanced proficiency with: AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S cloud platforms Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Cloud security implementation Serverless computing (Lambda, S3) Database services (RDS, DynamoDB) Cloud networking and VPC configuration CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments Monitoring and logging solutions Additional Technical Experience: Experience with: Python, .NET C#, or other development languages DevSecOps practices and tools Microservices architecture API Gateway implementation Elasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platforms SAFe Agile methodologies Cost optimization techniques for cloud resources Hybrid cloud and on-premises integration Benefits at Sentar: Voluntary Medical, Dental, Vision, with Health Savings or Flexible Spending Plan options Voluntary Life, Critical Illness, Accident, and Long Term Care insurance options Group Term Life, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability is provided by Sentar to all qualifying employees Generous 401(k) match Competitive PTO plan that graduates quickly with years of service Other leave programs; holiday schedule along with bereavement, maternity, jury and military duty Mental health awareness programs Tuition reimbursement Professional development reimbursement Recognition and Awards programs If you are not ready to apply for this position, submit your resume here to join our talent community.
