We are excited for the opportunity to bring aboard highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our teams. Currently, we are seeking a Windows System Administrator. This role supports our Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD. Responsibilities

System Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems on workstations and laptops, ensuring they adhere to organizational standards and specifications. System Updates & Patching: Apply OS and Application software updates, patches, and security fixes to maintain system stability, security, and compliance with internal policies. Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently, providing technical support and guidance to end-users. Security & Access Control: Implement and manage security measures, including user account management, access controls, and regular security updates to ensure the integrity of systems. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify potential bottlenecks or issues, and take proactive measures to ensure optimal performance and system availability. Collaboration & Teamwork: Collaborate with other IT staff to implement and maintain systems and resolve complex technical issues. Security Compliance: Work closely with Cyber Security and Enterprise Admin teams to assist in the review and implementation of security DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), monthly ACAS vulnerability assessments, and patching of OS and application software. Review and troubleshoot AD GPOs that are applied to devices with AD Admins as needed. Customer & Team Engagement: Participate in weekly and bi-weekly meetings to update customers on task progress, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction. Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, inventory control logs, security documentation, and RMF artifacts to support accreditation and compliance initiatives. Basic Requirements

Experience working with both Windows and Linux operating systems in an enterprise IT environment. Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues. Knowledge of system security practices, user account management, and access control. Ability to monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively. Experience with DISA STIGs, ACAS vulnerability assessments, and patch management. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and provide customer-facing support. Preferred Skills And Experience

Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation Experience with ACAS Security Center Experience with PDQ Management Software Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) ACAS Certification SEC+ Certification Detail-oriented and able to work multiple assignments autonomously and in a team setting Proficient with clear and concise verbal and written communication Experience with administering Windows Operating Systems RMF knowledge Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance practices, including STIG checklists and SCAP scanning Ability to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers to ensure a positive customer experience in a dynamic environment 2-4 years of Windows Administration experience DoD Information Assurance/Cyber policy and procedures to include hardening of systems, implementing STIGs and scanning DoD 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) Preferred: Experience with ACAS Security Center and creating reports as needed Security Clearance

Secret (must be a US Citizen) Telework and Travel

On-site 5 days per week. Contract
