Verbio is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Planner Scheduler, for its biomethane and ethanol production facility located at 59219 Lincoln Highway, Nevada, IA 50201.

About Verbio

At this site, VERBIO produces biomethane (renewable natural gas) from baled crop residues and ethanol from corn. This site also produces traditional corn based ethanol as well as multiple other fertilizers and soil conditioners.

Position Purpose

This role will specifically focus on supporting Maintenance and Construction activities at the biomethane and ethanol production facility. The position will work predominately at the plant site. The primary role of this position is to improve work force productivity and work quality by eliminating in advance potential delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of parts, machine time and labor.

Essential Functions Responsible for long-range as well as short-range planning. Long range planning involves the regular analysis of backlog relative to available resources. Short-range planning is planning for more pressing jobs. Effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders, including Maintenance and Production Manager, Reliability Engineer, and Operations Leaderships. Maintains appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results or work done. Reviews and screens each work request. Discusses the details with the requester if needed. Converts request into work orders from requesting departments and excepting emergency work. Adhering to all safety and health rules, as well as all other plant policies, procedures, and guidelines. Demonstrate high initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work safely and efficiently as a team and independently. Developing reliability plans for equipment and building work orders for routing preventive maintenance. Obtains blueprints, drawings, instructional manuals, and special procedures, as needed. Makes any additional sketches, diagrams, etc., necessary to clarify the intent of the work order. Working with mechanical, electrical, industrial cleaning/hydro blasting, and general contractors to scope and bid jobs. Attach parts to work orders from our inventory. Identifies and obtains determinable materials and critical items, entering material needs on the work orders. Build maintenance activities from manufacture recommendations. Work in maintenance software to build PM's and work orders. Estimates jobs with sequence of steps and the number of tradespersons needed. Work with vendors to support on activities that need outside support. Pull materials for the jobs in the warehouse if needed. Willing and able to lift-up to 50lbs. Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and or pulling. Excellent time management and organizational skills Being familiar with record keeping (keeping documents and receiving papers stored neatly for reference) Other duties as assigned.
