We are seeking a detail-oriented

Business Analyst II

to join our team and serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, Information Technology, and operations. This role requires someone who can take complex business problems, analyze requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within a highly regulated banking environment. The Business Analyst will lead requirement-gathering sessions, create process and data flow maps, and partner with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives. This individual will be responsible for documenting requirements, defining test acceptance criteria, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). They will also provide guidance in process improvements, risk awareness, and production support for business-critical systems. Key Responsibilities Serve as the liaison between business, operations, and Information Technology for requirement analysis and solution design.

Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements.

Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements.

Develop process maps, workflows, and data flow diagrams to visualize and optimize processes.

Partner with developers and testers to ensure solutions meet requirements.

Write clear acceptance criteria and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate accuracy of solutions.

Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.

Conduct research on industry trends and contribute to innovation and automation initiatives.

Mentor junior team members and provide knowledge transfer on tools, processes, and business domains.

Manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes within deadlines.

Knowledge of financial crimes or financial industry processes

Structured Query Language (SQL) scripting for data validation and testing

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong communication skills able to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Hands-on experience with process mapping and data mapping.

Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience writing test scripts, acceptance criteria, and executing test plans.

Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL) for data validation and testing preferred.

Prior experience in the financial industry or financial crimes domain is a plus.
