We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner Senior Manager for North American Manufacturing Operations to join our team onsite in Holland, MI. As the Human Resources Business Partner Senior Manager for North American Manufacturing Operations, this strategic leadership role partners closely with the Director of Operations to design and implement comprehensive HR initiatives that drive operational excellence across nine manufacturing plants in North America with over 1100 members. Leading a diverse team of nine HR Business Partners and HRBP Supervisors, the position provides mentorship and fosters professional development across all experience levels. This influential role plays a key part in workforce planning and talent development, with a strong focus on the hourly workforce to support scalable growth and build future-ready capabilities. It offers a unique opportunity to standardize HR practices across the region while shaping and executing a transformative people strategy for the operations organization. Manage and lead a team of HR professionals, setting team goals, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring performance. Strategic Business Partner to Manufacturing Leadership. Lead and manage HR projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Collaborate with HR leadership to align HRBP initiatives with overall business strategy. Develop and implement HR strategies and programs that align with business objectives and support organizational growth. Continuously analyze HR data and processes, identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement best practices. Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating organizational risk. Lead a culture of inclusion and belonging, promoting member engagement, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation. Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment. Performs other duties within scope as assigned. Working familiarity with human resource principles in the following areas: engagement and retention programs, employment law, appreciation and recognition programs, multi-channel communication to the variety of audiences that exist in manufacturing and distribution center teams, open shop and union avoidance, compensation, selection and placement, leadership guidance, coaching and development. Must have strong business acumen, emotional intelligence, ability to build relationships and create collaboration, excellent communication, presentation skills, and facilitation skills. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management, or similar relevant field of study. Education Equivalency: Associate's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management plus 2 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience if no post-secondary education. Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military 7 years of experience in Human Resources with a Bachelor's degree or, 5 years of experience in Human Resources with a Master's degree. 3 years supervisory experience. Willing and able to travel up to 25 percent of the time to Haworth's NA plants.
