Location: Westlake Village, CA Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Pay Rate: Starting at $25 per hour (DOE) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Closing Specialist to join the team. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for clientsresponding to emails and phone calls promptly, facilitating requests, and proactively ensuring excellent service levels. You will review pipelines to prioritize orders, perform curative work on non-closable files, disburse funds, and release cleared documents. The Closing Specialist will work closely with the team to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely closings. Key Responsibilities: Prepare estimated and signing HUD Settlement Statements (all HUD requests completed within 1 hour of request) Address any funding conditions from lenders Work with Central Operations to resolve recording rejects Run a daily trial balance and reconcile funds in trust accounts Follow up on policy issuance and ensure timely delivery to clients Provide support and information to Title staff as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years of industry experience At least 2 years in a client-facing closing role in the escrow industry Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader Ability to read, interpret, and prepare documents accurately Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Benefits upon hire: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401K with company contribution Paid time off & holidays Profit sharing and more This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the mortgage, escrow, or title industry.
