Responsibilities

Design and extend

XDM schemas

(profile, experience events), define datasets, dataflows, and mappings.

Implement

batch and streaming ingestion

(S3, GCS, Kafka, HTTP, SDK) with quality checks and error handling.

Configure

Identity Service

(namespaces, ID stitching, merge policies) and validate profile completeness.

Troubleshoot

profile joins, stitching, and audience eligibility

issues.

Build and operationalize

audiences/segments

with rule/computed attributes and monitor realization.

Configure

destinations

(Adobe, paid media, CRM) with mappings, privacy labels, and delivery schedules.

Implement

Adobe Web/Mobile SDKs

via Adobe Tags (Launch), rules, and custom events.

Validate data collection, consent flows, and instrumentation using

Adobe Debugger/Assurance .

Apply

DULE labels, consent, and Privacy Service ; manage sandboxes, documentation, and SLAs.

Use

Query Service

for validation, QA, and analytics; build dashboards for pipelines and segments.

Collaborate with

product, marketing ops, data engineering, and security teams

to deliver use cases.

Contribute to

best practices, naming standards, templates, and reusable patterns .

Requirements

37 years

in data/marketing engineering or digital analytics.

2+ years hands-on experience

with Adobe Experience Platform / Real-Time CDP.

Strong knowledge of: XDM schemas, Data Prep, Identity Service, Profile Service, Segment Builder, Destinations .

Adobe Tags (Launch)

and Web/Mobile SDK implementation.

SQL, JSON, APIs (Postman), payload troubleshooting .

Git/GitHub

and Agile project delivery (Jira/Azure DevOps).

Excellent communication skills with ability to document solutions and conduct stakeholder sessions.

Nice to Have

Experience with

Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Target, Campaign, or Marketo

integrations.

Exposure to

streaming platforms

(Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis) and pipelines (Airflow, DBT).

Cloud knowledge , preferably GCP (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run/Functions).

Familiarity with

privacy & compliance frameworks

(GDPR/CCPA) and Adobe Privacy Service.

Adobe Certifications

(Real-Time CDP, Analytics, Target).
