Engineer Staff

As an Engineer Staff, you will apply your years of industry expertise and experience as you work independently on large-scale projects and anticipate business trends. You will collaborate with others to identify and develop innovative services or processes that address current and future customer needs and recommend improvements. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver presentations to leaders and may supervise team members in their work! As a Turbine Engineer (Staff) you will work independently to anticipate internal and external business trends on major projects and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and standards. You will advise and deliver technical presentations to our management team and direct the work of others which will be key to your success! Performs sophisticated technical tasks and leads teams in projects of major scope and complexity Participates in the development and implementation of technical standards and specifications Interprets technological aspects of business and coordinates with leaders to ensure success Prepares and delivers presentations Applies expertise, knowledge and experience from projects that positively impacts earnings Collaborates with others to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs Handles resources requirements for projects Serves as a technical subject matter expert in gas turbine and reciprocating engine power generation with expertise in generator controls technology Performs technical analysis of various generator manufacturer 5MW and larger Analyzes equipment reliability, generator vibration, generator health with transient loading, and generator protection Performs technical and economic evaluation, performance testing, design and construction of new facilities, or upgrading existing facilities, and research on new developments Education/Years of Experience:

Required: Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum fifteen (15) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry Preferred: Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Preferred: Executive Master of Business Administration Other Requirements:

Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills Preferred: PE Certification Preferred: Project Management experience Specialist in rotating equipment, specifically reciprocating turbines
