AWS seeks a motivated and experienced Commissioning Program Technical Lead with expertise in data center commissioning or critical infrastructure projects. The Commissioning Program (CxP) is essential in guiding the commissioning process for AWS data center projects, from initial engagement to the eventual handover of power and facilities. You will be responsible for developing and standardizing commissioning documentation, finalizing test procedures, and planning commissioning levels for our critical facilities. Key Responsibilities Provide program-level oversight of commissioning activities for Amazon’s critical infrastructure and special construction projects. Contribute multi-disciplinary insights into project scheduling, design, and planning. Continuously audit commissioning activities for compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards. Coordinate with Global and Regional Cx Managers to ensure commissioning documents align with industry standards and AWS requirements. Manage internal tools to track progress against milestones, and produce program reports and data analytics. Establish and uphold commissioning standards and procedures. Oversee commissioning and testing programs to ensure optimal performance. Lead initiatives to uplift specifications for General Commissioning. Manage the Commissioning Management (MCM) processes effectively. Ensure adherence to AWS regulations and standards. Track and report metrics related to the program. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting mission-critical Data Center operations. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning MV & LV Distribution Switchgear, Automatic Transfer Switches, Standby Generators, UPS systems, Chillers, CRACs/CRAHs, and automation and monitoring systems (BMS and EPMS). Preferred Qualifications Experience with construction management tools such as Procore. Experience using commissioning management tools like CxAlloy. Served as the Commissioning Project Lead/Manager on a minimum of 5 data center construction projects of 5MW or greater. Demonstrated strong project and program management skills. Our compensation structure varies across U.S. geographic markets, with a base pay range from $105,100 to $185,000 per year, depending on the location.
