Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Principal Systems Engineer/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to join its team for the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Location: Bellevue, NE. Relocation assistance may be available. Clearance: Secret (DoD). Travel: 10% of the time. This position may be filled at a Principal or Senior Principal level based on qualifications. Responsibilities

This Systems Engineer position will support activities including use case development, requirements definition/allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability. Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts. Work with technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design. Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model. Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical). Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis. Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration). Basic Qualifications

This position may be filled at a Principal or Sr. Principal level. Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5 years of related experience; or a Masters with 3 years; or a PhD with 1 year (Sr Principal level: BS with 8 years; MS with 6; PhD with 4). 1 year of experience (2 years for Sr Principal) with requirements management/analysis/allocations or equivalent graduate certificate. 1 year of experience (2 years for Sr Principal) with Model-Based Engineering/MBSE practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW or equivalent graduate certificate. 1 year of experience (2 years for Sr Principal) with one or more of the following areas: C2, physical security, cybersecurity, NC3 systems, communications systems, facility design, or military aerospace development. Preferred Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret Clearance. Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model. Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS. Experience in SysML or UPDM modeling languages. Proficiency with DoDAF, UAF, or other modeling frameworks. 3+ years modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture, MagicDraw or other architecture modeling tools. Experience modeling large systems with multiple developers and exporting documentation from a model-based environment. Experience in Software and/or Hardware design and in documenting Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirements Specifications, and Interface Description Documents. Experience with software-defined hardware structures and modeling/simulation programs (e.g., AF SIM). Experience applying hypervisors, cross-domain solutions, multi-level security systems, or modular open systems approach to integrated systems. Experience with scripting and coding languages (e.g., Python). Experience with Agile Development and ICBM weapon system sustainment engineering. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with complex systems on large programs. Position Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00 Salary ranges represent general guidelines; offers depend on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply.
