The L2 Team Systems Analyst provides second-level support and light systems administration for local and regional environmentsowning escalations from L1, partnering with L3, and leading small projects that keep infrastructure and endpoints running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
Deliver courteous, timely support to end users; log and track all work in the ticketing system Administer and troubleshoot local infrastructure: hypervisors, switches, routers/firewalls, backup servers Support endpoint hardware/software using best practices; collaborate with peers/management on complex issues Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, peripherals, and standard software images Serve as escalation point for L1 and as a de-escalation bridge to L3 Act as technical lead on select local/regional initiatives and acquisitions Participate daily in the L2 support queue and contribute to knowledge articles/runbooks Qualifications & Experience
15 years in an end-user facing technical support or systems/admin role Associate degree in a computer-related field; bachelors preferred (relevant certs considered) Comfortable with core infra concepts: virtualization, switching, routing/firewalls, backups Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and ticket hygiene; clear written and verbal communication Team-oriented, coachable, and proactive about asking for help when needed Able to support users with varied skill levels, work independently or on a project team, make sound decisions under pressure, and spot trends to recommend preventive improvements Seniority level
